Casino glossary, priced.
Every casino, slot, bonus, payment and compliance term you'll see on an operator T&C or a game screen — decoded into what it means, why the operator wrote it that way and which live ranking on this site prices it. No marketing gloss. Definitions cross-checked against operator T&C on every build.
RTP, EV, volatility, house edge, Monte Carlo — the numbers every bonus and every ranking on the site is priced against. Read these first, everything else is context.
Wagering multipliers, max-cashout caps, sticky vs non-sticky, wager-free — the vocabulary the T&C hide the actual EV behind. The clearing math lives here.
Megaways, hold-and-spin, cluster pays, buy-features — the on-screen mechanics that produce the RTP the math lives in. Useful when a slot page or bonus wagering-scope T&C references them.
Withdrawal caps, minimum deposit, stablecoin, deposit methods — the rail-side vocabulary that decides how fast the balance turns into money in the bank.
KYC, AML, source of funds, GamStop, self-exclusion, dispute resolution — the framework that decides whether a legit win actually pays out. Fine print worth reading.
Glossary · FAQ
How is a glossary different from a guide?
A glossary entry is a one-page definition of a single term — what it means, why it appears in T&C or on a slot page, and which live ranking on CasiMath uses it. Guides walk end-to-end through a topic (RTP, wagering, bankroll) and use several glossary terms per page. Read a term when you hit unfamiliar vocabulary; read a guide when you want the whole operating model.
Which terms should I read first?
If bonuses are your entry point, start with wagering requirement, max cashout, game contribution, and sticky bonus — those four decide the EV of every offer. For slots, start with RTP, volatility and hit frequency. For payouts, start with withdrawal cap and KYC.
Are these definitions industry-standard or house-defined?
We use the industry-standard definition wherever one exists (RTP, EV, KYC, AML — all consistent across regulators). Where operators use the same word for different things — "welcome bonus" sometimes means match, sometimes package, sometimes cashback — we say so and split into separate entries. Every definition is checked against at least three live operator T&C during the September 2026 rebuild.
How often does the glossary update?
Every build. New terms are added when they appear in enough operator T&C to be worth naming — recent additions include stablecoin (crypto rail switch), affordability check (UK regulatory push) and wager-free bonus (Nordic norm going global). Existing terms get re-checked whenever a guide that uses them ships. Latest update tracked here is 2026-07-29.
Can I link a term into my own site or article?
Yes — every term has a stable URL (/glossary/<slug>) and is safe to hotlink. Editorial-attribution links are welcomed; we do not ask for reciprocal follow tags. If you find a definition that has drifted from current operator practice, use the footer contact link.
Where do the cross-linked rankings come from?
Each glossary term links out to the /bonuses, /casinos, /slots, /payments or /country ranking where the concept it defines is priced against live operator data. The link target is the ranking that answers "so how does this look in the current market?" once you understand the definition.
18+. Definitions are editorial content, not legal or financial advice. If a term appears in an operator T&C in a way that differs from the definition here, the operator's wording governs the bonus — read the T&C.
