Withdrawal cap
A weekly or monthly limit on how much you can withdraw from a casino, regardless of your balance. Often overlooked in T&C.
Also known as: withdrawal limitcashout limit
An operator-imposed limit on how much you can withdraw from your account within a period — weekly, monthly, or lifetime.
Typical formats:
- Weekly cap: e.g., €5,000/week. Common at offshore operators.
- Monthly cap: e.g., €20,000/month. Common alongside VIP tier structure.
- Lifetime cap on jackpot wins: e.g., “maximum single win from this bonus is €10,000 lifetime”. Rare but exists.
- Per-transaction cap: e.g., €5,000 max per withdrawal request; larger amounts must be split.
Real-world implication: a €50,000 jackpot win at an operator with a €5,000/week cap takes 10 weeks to fully cash out. During that time your remaining balance sits at the operator’s discretion — some accrue interest, some don’t; some restrict betting on undrawn balances.
Higher VIP tiers usually lift these caps significantly or remove them entirely. Ask before you commit to a large deposit.
Check the “Withdrawals” or “Cashier” section of the T&C on any operator you sign up with. This clause is where casinos hide friction.
