No Wagering
A bonus where winnings are immediately withdrawable — no wagering multiplier must be cleared first. The rarest and most valuable bonus format.
Also known as: No wager bonusWager-free bonusZero wagering
A “no wagering” bonus is any bonus offer where the winnings from the bonus (or free spins) are treated as real money immediately — there is no wagering multiplier to clear before withdrawal.
Why they’re rare
Wagering requirements exist to protect the operator’s economics: at 40× wagering on 96.5% RTP slots, the operator recovers 100% of the bonus + a house-edge margin on expected value. Without wagering, the operator eats the full bonus value as a direct promotional cost.
Only well-capitalised operators offer no-wagering promotions consistently. Common at:
- Cashback offers (10% wager-free cashback is now common).
- Occasional welcome free spins (10-25 no-wagering spins on registration).
- VIP tier rewards (host-negotiated no-wagering match bonuses).
No wagering vs low wagering
- No wagering: winnings are already withdrawable. EV is nearly the face value of the bonus.
- Low wagering (1×-10×): small clearance requirement, easy to complete, EV close to face value.
- Standard wagering (30×-45×): substantial clearance, EV compressed by expected loss.
- High wagering (50×+): EV usually negative.
Compute the EV instantly
No wagering EV = bonus face value − max cashout cap constraint (if any).
Example: 50 no-wagering free spins at €0.20 bet size.
- Face value: 50 × €0.20 = €10.
- Expected winnings at 96.5% RTP: 50 × €0.20 × 0.965 = €9.65.
- No wagering means the €9.65 winnings are immediately withdrawable.
- Max cashout usually €50-100 on no-wagering spins, so no constraint at these small values.
EV ≈ +€9.65 on €0 investment (no-deposit) or +€9.65 on top of a normal deposit (welcome bonus). Strong offer.
Watch for hidden clauses
Some operators market “no wagering” but attach:
- Max cashout caps (€50 max on €500 of winnings — voids the excess).
- Payment method restrictions (bonus voids if withdrawn via crypto).
- Restricted games (winnings only count if from specific slots).
Read the T&C anyway. “No wagering” is the good-news headline; hidden clauses may still apply.
