Bankroll

The total amount of money you have set aside for casino play.

Also known as: playing bankfunds

The money you set aside specifically for casino play, treated as sunk if lost. Two useful sub-concepts:

Total bankroll: the pool across weeks/months. Never top up from personal money.
Session bankroll: the slice you bring to a single session (usually 1/10 of total).

Rule of thumb: bet size ≤ 2% of session bankroll. On a €200 session bankroll, max €4/spin. Below that fraction, most slots absorb normal losing streaks without busting.
