The T&C is the offer
The offer at the top of the promotion page (“100% up to €500 + 100 Free Spins!”) is marketing. The offer lives in the T&C page at the bottom.
Reading the T&C takes 5 minutes. It saves 5-10 hours per year of dispute-resolution headaches.
Here is the exact checklist.
1. Match ratio + cap
Look for: “X% up to €Y” (e.g. “100% up to €500”).
Confirm:
- What is the match percentage?
- What is the maximum bonus amount?
- Is the match applied to your first deposit, or first-N deposits?
Common gotcha: multi-tier welcome offers where the “€1500 up to” is spread across 3 deposits, each with a different match. You’ll almost never claim the full amount.
2. Wagering multiplier + scope
Look for: “Wagering requirement: 40x bonus” or “40x deposit + bonus”.
Confirm:
- Wagering multiplier (30x, 35x, 40x, 45x common).
- Scope: B (bonus only) or D+B (deposit + bonus).
D+B doubles the required turnover for the same headline multiplier. See our wagering scope glossary entry.
Compute required turnover:
- B: multiplier × bonus amount
- D+B: multiplier × (deposit + bonus)
Expected loss at 96.5% RTP slots = required turnover × 3.5%.
3. Max bet during wagering
Look for: “Max bet during bonus play: €5”.
Common values: €4, €5, €7, €10.
Every bet placed above the cap voids the entire bonus retroactively. Set your bet size at session start; never change it while a bonus is active.
4. Max cashout
Look for: “Max win from bonus: 5x bonus amount” or “Max cashout: €1,000”.
Common values:
- No-deposit bonuses: 3x-10x
- Standard welcomes: 10x-20x or no cap
- Free spins: cap on winnings from spins
Every no-deposit bonus has a max cashout. Most welcomes do too. Cap your withdrawal request at this limit; do not gamble excess winnings hoping to double up.
5. Expiry
Look for: “Bonus valid for 30 days” or “Wagering must be complete within 21 days”.
Common values: 7, 14, 21, 30 days.
If wagering isn’t complete by expiry, bonus + winnings are voided. Real-money deposit remains (minus session losses).
6. Game contribution table
Look for: “Game contribution to wagering” table.
Standard contributions:
- Slots: 100%
- Video poker: 5-25%
- Blackjack, roulette: 5-10%
- Live dealer: 0-10%
Cross-check the specific games you want to play. Some slots are excluded (Book of Dead, Blood Suckers, high-RTP low-vol titles that make wagering too easy).
7. Restricted games list
Look for: “Games not counting toward wagering” or “Restricted games”.
Search this section for your target game name. Playing a restricted game with an active bonus voids the bonus and winnings.
Common restrictions:
- Book of Dead, Book of Ra
- Blood Suckers, Mega Joker (97%+ RTP low-vol)
- Some jackpot slots
- Some live-dealer tables
8. Restricted countries
Look for: “Bonus not available to residents of…” or “Restricted jurisdictions”.
If your country is on the list, claiming the bonus can cause account closure. Even if you technically can activate it, withdrawal will be blocked.
9. Restricted payment methods
Look for: “Bonus not available with deposits via…”.
Common exclusions:
- Skrill and Neteller (almost universal)
- PayPal (some operators)
- Prepaid cards (some operators)
- Crypto (rare, but check)
Depositing via an excluded method silently disqualifies the bonus. Some operators warn at deposit time; many don’t.
10. Bonus code
Look for: “Enter bonus code XYZ” at the deposit page or registration form.
Miss the code = miss the bonus. Most operators do not retroactively apply codes.
11. Retroactive changes
Look for: “Terms may change at any time” or “Company reserves the right to modify”.
Every T&C has this clause. What matters is the operator’s public track record: do they honor terms as advertised at deposit time, or do they change them mid-clearance?
Screenshot the T&C page at deposit time. This is your only evidence in a dispute.
12. Withdrawal caps
Look for: “Weekly withdrawal limit: €5,000” or “Monthly cap: €20,000” in the bonus T&C OR the general banking T&C.
A €50,000 win at €5,000/week takes 10 weeks to cash out fully. Check before you commit to a bonus that might produce a large win.
