How Cluster Pays works
Instead of paylines, wins are triggered by clusters of 5+ adjacent matching symbols. Symbols are typically arranged in a 6x5 or 7x7 grid rather than the traditional 5x3. Wins remove the cluster and drop new symbols in from above (cascade), enabling chain reactions. NetEnt's Aloha! Cluster Pays (2016) and Reactoonz (2017) popularised the mechanic; Play'n GO, Pragmatic Play, Push Gaming and others now ship regularly.
